THE Illegal Trade Eradication Steering Committee oversaw a series of operations in Kayin State on 10 September. During these operations, an enforcement team inspected 29 vehicles at the Maebaung-Nawngplein junction near Maebaung village in Hpa-an.

They seized 24 types of unregistered business goods, three types of food products, and 29 vehicles, with a total estimated value of around K1.548 billion. These items were confiscated under legal proceedings in line with Customs procedures.

Additionally, on 11 September, the special task force in the Yangon Region searched the Bahan Township, seizing an unregistered Toyota Probox valued at approximately K4.5 million in accordance with the import-export law.

On 12 September, the task force in the Magway Region confiscated an unregistered Toyota Voxy valued at about K10 million near Abya Ngatchaywin village in Waw Township. This action is also being pursued according to Customs procedures. Overall, from 10 to 12 September, these operations resulted in the seizure of 91 cases of illegal goods, with a total estimated value of K1.584 billion, as reported by the Illegal Trade Eradication Steering Committee.
