MALICIOUS media outlets spread misinformation, claiming that Tatmadaw used poisonous gas bombs during the clashes in Omati village and its vicinity in Nawnghkio Township.

According to a regional security official, terrorists stationed near the village faced massive causalities due to the airstrike and counterattacks of security forces. Therefore, terrorists intentionally circulated such fake information via subversive media outlets when they encountered mass casualities.
