Union Minister for Legal Affairs and Union Attorney-General Dr Thida Oo met Mr Arnaud de Baecque, Resident Representative of Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Myanmar yesterday at the diplomatic reception hall of the Ministry of Legal Affairs.

They discussed matters related to translating the four Geneva Conventions from English into Myanmar. They also exchanged views on organizing a workshop on International Humanitarian Law (IHL) for legal officers from the Ministry of Legal Affairs in collaboration with the ICRC. The deputy minister, and deputy attorney-general and other officials also attended the meeting.
