A total of 185,633 students sat for the Physics exam, and 22,845 candidates sat for the History exam nationwide, including at overseas exam centres, on the fifth day of the 2025 academic year matriculation examination (Grade 12) yesterday.

This year, a total of 813 exam centres, including 12 overseas exam centres and 801 local centres, are open for the Physics exam. A total of 195,603 students are enrolled to take the examination. On the fifth day, 185,633 students sat for the Physics exam, with 9,970 absentees. The Ministry of Education stated that the number of students sitting for the examination accounted for 94.90 per cent.

This year, 674 exam centres, including one overseas exam centre and 673 local centres, are open for the History exam. A total of 25,240 students are enrolled to take the examination. On the fifth day, 22,845 students sat for the History exam, with 2,395 absentees. The Ministry of Education stated that the number of students sitting for the examination accounted for 90.51 per cent.
