Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Than Swe received Mr Abhay Thakur, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, yesterday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.

They discussed ways to further strengthen the longstanding friendship and cooperation between Myanmar and India. They explored opportunities to enhance collaboration across various sectors of mutual interest and emphasized the importance of utilizing existing mechanisms to advance the shared interests of both countries.
