Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win inspected the full-dress rehearsal of the parade columns which will participate in the parade of the 80th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day which falls on 27 March 2025, at the Nay Pyi Taw Parade Ground yesterday morning.
Tatmadaw members, including female Tatmadaw members from seven parade columns, marched to the parade ground from Thittat Ground by singing military songs to the accompaniment of the Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) band and the band of Myanmar Police Force.
The Vice-Senior General accompanied by Union Minister for Defence General Maung Maung Aye, Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Kyaw Swa Lin, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Htein Win, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung, Chairman of the Leading Committee for Organizing the Armed Forces Day Chief of Armed Forces Training Lt-Gen Htein Win, senior Tatmadaw officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, Commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command Maj-Gen Soe Min and officials.
The Vice-Senior General inspected the marching of parade columns into the parade ground, seating plans for distinguished guests to the parade, installation of Simultaneous Interpretation System devices for foreign guests, the cavalry company and the rehearsal for taking position of the VIP convoy.
The Vice-Senior General also viewed round flying of aircraft from Tatmadaw (Air) in formations, uniforms of the flag bearer and companies, parade flags, parade small arms and equipment, and parade rehearsal of relevant companies and attended to the needs of officials.
The parade will consist of Tatmadaw members from Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) and Myanmar Police Force, female Tatmadaw members, female special squad members and aircraft from Tatmadaw (Air).
