The working committee for the implementation of e-government held its first coordination meeting at the Ministry of Transport and Communications yesterday afternoon.
Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Transport and Communications General Mya Tun Oo, in his capacity as Chairman of the Working Committee, said concerted efforts must be made to successfully gain the achievements in e-government development programmes set out in the Myanmar e-government Master Plan 2030. In doing so, it includes building ICT Infrastructure, e-procurement and government and private collaboration, training skilled personnel, setting standards, conducting research, releasing information and engaging in international cooperation. Moreover, it is essential to coordinate rapidly advancing public electronic services and accelerating e-government.
The working committee members, chairs of sub-committees, and officials of regional and state governments coordinated the discussion and sought instructions from the General.
He concluded the meeting after giving proper instructions.
