A delegation led by Colonel-General Alexander Vasilyevich Fomin, Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, arrived at the Tatmadaw Airport in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon to attend the 80th Armed Forces Day celebration on 27 March 2025.

The delegation was welcomed at the airport by Maj-Gen Soe Min, Commander of the Nay Pyi Taw Command, and senior military officers.

Similarly, a delegation led by Lt-Gen Viktar Gennadyevich Khrenin, Minister of Defence of the Republic of Belarus, arrived at Yangon International Airport yesterday evening to attend the 80th Armed Forces Day ceremony, and they were welcomed by Brig-Gen Pyae Sone Lin, Commander of the Yangon Command, and other officials.
