Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Than Swe received Mr Michael Dunford, Resident Representative of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), yesterday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.

They discussed the matters pertaining to the provision of humanitarian assistance to the population from the areas affected by the Mandalay earthquake which struck in the central part of Myanmar on 28 March 2025.

The meeting was also presented by senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
