Deputy Consul-General Jiang Wei of the Chinese Consulate-General in Mandalay, accompanied by officials from the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), Myanmar Conch Cement Co Ltd, and the Myanmar Chinese Chamber of Commerce (Mandalay), donated cash and relief materials worth K400 million to the Mandalay Region government on 8 April, which was accepted by Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung.

The donations will be distributed to earthquake victims promptly, according to the authorities.
