The Indonesian emergency medical team is providing medical services to residents in the Nay Pyi Taw Council Area.

The Indonesian rescue and emergency medical team consists of 37 personnel, including general practitioners, surgeons, orthopaedic specialists, anaesthetists, paediatricians, emergency medicine specialists, pharmacists, nurses, midwives, administrative officers, and logistics officers.

Since 7 April 2025, the team has been offering medical treatment to earthquake victims at the temporary TCK EMT Indonesia’s clinic, located at the 50-bed People’s Hospital in Ottarathiri Township.

The TCK EMT Indonesia’s temporary clinic is equipped with five tents and comprises an emergency unit, outpatient unit, observation ward, pharmacy unit, and a management and supervision unit. Medical services being provided at the clinic include emergency care, outpatient treatment, paediatric healthcare, minor surgical procedures, maternal healthcare, dispensary services, and basic laboratory testing. These services will continue to be provided until 21 April 2025.
