THE Myanmar Fire Services Department said that the body of a girl was found in the collapsed Mandalay Sky Villa building at 1:55 pm on 18 April during its ongoing search and rescue operations after the quake.

Similarly, the MFSD has been carrying out rescue operations for the trapped people at the sites of the collapsed Regional Cooperative Department building on 27th and 28th Streets, 84th Street, Mandalay, the collapsed ancient historic Nan Myint Tower in TadaU Township, and the Golden City Hotel on 30th Street between 70th and 71st Streets due to the earthquake.

During such search and rescue operations, important documents, memory sticks and cash were found in the Regional Cooperative Department Office, and jewellery, cash and important documents were found in the Ingyin Condominium building between 21st and 22nd Streets and 80th and 81st Streets have been handed over to their respective owners by the MFSD.
