In response to the recent Mandalay Earthquake in Myanmar, a 50-member medical team from China has arrived in Yangon to support healthcare efforts in the affected regions.
The team landed in Yangon at around 5:30 pm yesterday via China Eastern Airlines, bringing with them over five tonnes of medical supplies and related equipment.
Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Health and Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, along with Mr Ouyang Daobing, Counsellor from the Chinese Embassy to Myanmar and other responsible personnel welcomed the Chinese doctors at Yangon International Airport.
