Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla and officials comforted Tatmadaw members, families and members of Myanmar Police Force who are receiving medical treatment for their injuries caused by the recent earthquake at the Tatmadaw Hospital in PyinOoLwin yesterday morning.
The Senior General, his wife and party asked about injuries and progress of health conditions of members of the Sangha who sustained injuries in the Mandalay earthquake receiving treatment at the hospital and donated nutritious foods and cash for nine prerequisites.
The Senior General and his wife warmly comforted injured Tatmadaw members families and MPF members and presented foodstuffs.
The Senior General individually asked about injuries and progress of health conditions of Tatmadaw members who sustained injuries in serving defence and security duties of the State, receiving medical treatment at the hospital and fulfilled their requirements and presented cash support and gifts to those patients. The Senior General and his wife comforted a venerable Sayadaw and two civilians receiving medical treatment for their injuries at the special intensive care unit of the hospital and provide nutritious foods and cash for nine prerequisites.
The Senior General and his wife also comforted two quake-affected injured nuns at the maternity and child ward and donated foods and financial support.
Tatmadaw hospitals in relevant regions provide healthcare services to 15 members of the Sangha, staff and families as well as 5,016 civilians as outpatients for their injuries. So far, these hospitals are giving medical treatment to 51 members of the Sangha, staff, families and 476 civilians for their serious injuries with healthcare services until their injuries heal.
