The government allocates the National Disaster Management Fund for cleanliness activities and rehabilitation operations in quake-stricken areas.

In doing so, the National Disaster Management Centre has granted K10 billion to the Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, K50 billion to Sagaing Region, K60 billion to Mandalay Region and K5 billion to Shan State.

The cash assistance was granted to the officials of the Nay Pyi Taw Council Area and regions to spend it on cleanliness activities and renovation processes of quake-hit pagodas, stupas and temples, historic buildings, religious buildings and other seriously destroyed buildings, and to provide the needed assistance to the people.
