Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Ohn Win, in his capacity as the patron of the Myanmar Gems Emporium Central Committee, presided over its meeting in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

The members of work committees and the Myanmar Gems and Jewellery Entrepreneurs Association reviewed the previous emporiums, and discussed preparations for sale events in the post-COVID-19, depending on the situations of the pandemic.

The committee could not organize an emporium scheduled for January 2020 due to the outbreak of COVID-19, although it held a preparatory meeting on 9 December 2019.
