The Legal Translation Commission held their sixth meeting at the office of the Union Attorney-General on 19 February.
Commission Chairman and Union Attorney-General, U Tun Tun Oo, said the fifth meeting discussed the translation of four laws which will be included in volume 7 of translated laws.
He said they have published 20 laws up to volume 6 and this three-day meeting will discuss translation of the Penal Code, the Negotiable Instruments Act, and the Public Property Protection Act.
The UAG said their working groups are currently translating 16 laws and 38 laws are slated for translation. Commission members and invited guests were present at the meeting.
