KOREAN Air (KE) which has been suspended for more than two years due to the COVID-19 outbreak, will resume on 6 July. The airlines will resume Yangon-Seoul-Yangon weekly flights every Wednesday from 6 July.

From 17 April, when international flights and tourists were welcomed back to Myanmar, to the end of April, there were 6,455 arriving passengers and 9,593 departing passengers, according to the Department of Civil Aviation.

In addition, it is reported that Thai Smile airlines will resume on 1 June, Air Asia on 3 June, and Nok Air on 1 July, respectively. The Myanmar National Airlines is also flying regularly to Singapore, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur, and the MAI is flying to Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Tokyo, Singapore, Seoul, Guangzhou, Dubai, Phnom Penh, and Kolkata on scheduled days.
