A combined team including anti-narcotic squad searched a car driven by Maung Maung Lwin (a) Myint Zaw Lwin accompanied with Sai Hsan Paung and Sai Sein Win on the Ywangan-Kyaukse road near Ingon Village in Ywangan Township on 8 March and seized 217 kilo of ICE, 1,678,000 stimulant tablets and a hand phone from them.
Similarly, a local anti-narcotic squad in Muse seized 15,000 stimulant tablets and a hand phone from Yan Chain Lon (a) Ar Lon who drove a car on Pansai(Kyu Kok)-Muse road near Nam Hwel Village, Muse Township on the same day.
Police in Pinlaung Township arrested Kyar Thein after discovering on his car 501 kilo of raw opium on Pinlaung-Phekon road near Sintaung Village, Pinlaung Township on 8 March.
Similarly, police in Phakant Township searched Ma Lwan Naw on Nant Hmaw-Wheykha road near Hsaiaung Village, Phakant Township and arrested her together with 6,000 stimulant tablets. Myanmar Police Force have opened lawsuits against them under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law, according to Myanmar Police Force.
Simarlarly, Tatmadaw columns seized 3,000 stimulant tablets hidden in a hole near Minehtalan Village in Monghsat Township on 5 March; 10,000 stimulant tablets hidden in bush near Maekyut Village, Monghsat Township on 7 March morning; 22,000 stimulant tablets hidden in a hole near Minehtalan Village, Monghsat Township on 7 March afternoon; 100,000 stimulant tablets and 8 kilo of ICE hidden in a hole at the side of Monghsat-Mongtun road in Monghsat Township, 7 March evening; and 2,300 stimulant tablets at the side of a road near Maekyoke 2 Village in Monghsat Township on 8 March, according to Myanmar Police Force.
