The 26th meeting of the Union Peace Dialogue Joint Committee (UPDJC) Secretariat was held at the National Reconciliation and Peace Centre (NRPC) yesterday.

The meeting discussed future plans for implementing the decisions of the 18th UPDJC meeting, and plans to hold the next secretariat meeting.

Present at the meeting were members of the UPDJC Secretariat, including those from the government side, retired Lt-Gen Khin Zaw Oo, Maj-Gen Soe Naing Oo, Brig-Gen Ye Yint Win, Director-General U Zaw Htay and U Hla Maung Shwe, NCA Framework Negotiation Team Leader Sao Sai Ngin, Pado Saw Tar Do Moo, U Myo Win, Saw Mya Yazar Lin and Khin Myint Tun from the ethnic armed organizations, and U Nai Ngan Lin, U Myint Soe, Sai Kyaw Nyunt, Tar Hla Pe and U Thein Tun from the political parties.
