UNION Minister U Ko Ko Hlaing of the Ministry of Inter­national Cooperation received Mr Mongkol Visitstump, Am­bassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the King­dom of Thailand to the Repub­lic of the Union of Myanmar at 4 pm on 8 December 2022 at the Ministry of International Cooperation in Nay Pyi Taw.

The Union minister ex­tended congratulations to the ambassador on his appoint­ment as Ambassador Extraor­dinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of the Union of Myan­mar. During the meeting, both sides discussed matters relat­ed to further enhancement of traditional bonds of friendship and mutually beneficial coop­eration between Myanmar and Thailand as well as on contin­ued cooperation between the two countries in regional and multilateral fora on the basis of mutual understanding and support.
