CHAIRMAN and members of the Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies (MISIS) received the election observer delegation of Belarus, led by Mr Alexei Bashan, Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Belarus, at the MISIS office in Yangon yesterday.

Both sides exchanged views on information on the forthcoming election, electoral processes, and cooperation between the future parliaments (Hluttaw) of Myanmar and its counterpart in Belarus. The visit contributed to strengthening mutual understanding and fostering constructive engagement between MISIS and relevant institutions of the Republic of Belarus.
