I NTERNATIONAL election observation delegations will visit Myanmar to monitor the multiparty democratic general election scheduled for 28 December 2025. The delegation led by Mr Alexei Bashan, Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Belarus, arrived in Yangon by air on 24 December.

The election observation delegation, led by the deputy chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Belarus, was welcomed at Yangon International Airport by a member of the Union Election Commission and the Yangon Region in-charge, the regional Minister for Natural Resources, officials from the Union Election Commission Office, and the Yangon Region Election Subcommission Office.
