A Nepali rescue team of 16 doctors and nurses, who diligently provided humanitarian assistance and supported rehabilitation in Myanmar’s earthquake-affected areas, departed for Nepal by air from Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
They were seen off at Nay Pyi Taw Tatmadaw Airport by officials from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement.
The Nepali teams collaborated with Myanmar firefighters, local volunteers, military personnel, and the Myanmar Police Force to provide healthcare in earthquake-affected areas during their mission.
