The Third Pyithu Hluttaw successfully concluded its second regular session yesterday after 32 sitting days, during which lawmakers focused on infrastructure, agriculture, housing and public services while raising hundreds of questions on national and regional development.

THE Third Pyithu Hluttaw held the 30th day of its second regular session on Monday in Nay Pyi Taw, where lawmakers questioned ministers on issues ranging from expired vehicle registrations and telecommunications services to teachers’ salaries, drainage systems and rural road upgrades.

PYITHU Hluttaw Speaker U Khin Yi, accompanied by Deputy Speaker U Maung Maung Ohn and relevant officials, met the members of the Health and Sports Committee.

The Third Pyithu Hluttaw held the 29th day of its second regular session in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday, with lawmakers raising 10 questions on public administration, security, education, telecommunications and local development.

The Third Pyithu Hluttaw convened the 28th day of its second regular session in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday, with Speaker U Khin Yi and Deputy Speaker U Maung Maung Ohn presiding over the meeting. Lawmakers raised seven questions covering township administration, road and bridge infrastructure, agricultural development, reservoir rehabilitation, transport routes and farmland management.

Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker U Khin Yi yesterday welcomed the chairperson, secretary, and members of the Farmers Livelihood Development Foundation, joined by former Myanmar national athletes, during the 28‑day sitting of the Second Regular Session of the Third Pyithu Hluttaw.
