Foreign Ministry protests and rejects in the strongest terms on the statements issued by certain countries and regional/international organizations

THE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has observed statements issued by certain countries and regional/international organizations with respect to the verdicts of four convicts who were given death sentences in accordance with the Penal Code and the Counter- Terrorism Law of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar as they were found to be guilty of masterminding, arranging and committing brutal and inhumane terror acts and murders which have resulted in the deaths of many innocent civilians.
