MALICIOUS media intentionally spread false news, claiming that a woman riding a motorcycle was shot and killed by security forces in Inzauk Village, Launglon Township, Taninthayi Region, on 13 December.

According to the investigation, security forces conducting security measures were attacked by PDF terrorists near the vicinity of Inzauk Village. PDF terrorists retreated after the armed engagement.

Subversive media outlets intentionally spread misinformation to affect the peace and stability of the region and mislead the public about security forces.
