Malicious media intentionally spread false news, claiming that security forces detained 50 locals of Gawgyi village in Monywa Township, Sagaing Region.

According to a security official, PDF terrorists launched attacks in towns and villages and residents fled from these areas. Security forces conducted security measures following the rules and regulations and did not arrest any locals.

Subversive media outlets intentionally circulate misinformation to affect the peace and stability of the region and mislead the public about security forces.
