Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accepted the Credentials of Ambassador-designate of Cambodia to Myanmar Mr Cheng Manith at the Credentials Hall of the Office of SAC Chairman in Nay Pyi Taw at 10:00 am yesterday.

At the discussion, they highlighted holding the ceremony to mark the 70th anniversary of the founding of the diplomatic relations between the two countries, and further promotion of bilateral cooperation.

They frankly discussed cementing bilateral diplomatic relations and friendly relations between Myanmar and Cambodia, the potential for economic cooperation, the promotion of bilateral trade, and efforts to further enhance bilateral trade, the development of the tourism industry, and cultural exchange.

Also, present at the ceremony were Council Joint Secretary Gen Ye Win Oo, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe and Director-General U Zaw Tun Oo of the Protocol Department.
