DEPUTY Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Than Swe received Mr Cheng Manith, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, yesterday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the courtesy call, the Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. They candidly exchanged views on further advancement of the existing friendly bilateral ties, and intensification of mutually beneficial cooperation across areas of common interest, including trade, tourism, and closer collaboration in regional and multilateral arenas.
