ACCORDING to Vice-Chair U Aye Kyu Lay of the Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization, the Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization plans to offer food items such as rice, edible oil, and snacks to members of the film industry as a New Year donation in January 2025.

“The Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization will be supporting film industry members for the 15th time by distributing rice and food items as a New Year donation. For this, generous donors have also contributed money,” said U Aye Kyu Lay.

He also mentioned that U Kyauk Taung family (Nay La Yadana Company) donated K1 million on 20 December to help distribute rice, oil, and food items to the film industry as part of the New Year donation.

The Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization has previously supported the film industry with rice and oil-based food products 14 times, commencing from 3 until 6 April 2004, benefiting the industry’s various sectors, including management, distribution, scriptwriting, production, and supporting roles.
