THE National-Level Micro-, Small-, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSME) Product Exhibition and Competition will take place at Tabaung Ground in Pobbathiri Township in Nay Pyi Taw soon.

It aims to support the success of MSME businesses, expand markets for their products, enhance connections with domestic and international organizations, and promote the long-term sustainability of MSMEs while ensuring accountability in their operations.

On his inspection tour, U Yin Maung Nyunt, Deputy Minister for Industry and Chairman of the MSME Product Exhibition and Competition Organizing Committee, on 28 December, viewed round the progress of booth construction for the upcoming event.

During the inspection, the Deputy Minister instructed officials of relevant subcommittees to complete various pavilions, including the ministry’s exhibition stalls, traditional food stalls, MSME product displays from regions and states, as well as booths for small industries and manufacturing cooperatives societies, to ensure all measures to be ready on schedule.

He noted that the Nay Pyi Taw Council has prior experience in organizing MSME exhibitions twice before. Lessons learned from these events will guide efforts to build on strengths and address any weaknesses.

The Nay Pyi Taw Council members discussed ways to assist in the smooth organization of the exhibition and agreed to share insights from past events.

Furthermore, the Deputy Minister emphasized the need for effective coordination to address any outstanding requirements for the booth construction to ensure the success of the exhibition and competition.
