A ceremony to warmly welcome the triumphant frontline Tatmadaw members who courageously wiped out PDF terrorists, earned successive victories and handed over Kyaukme and its surrounding area to the local people was held at the local battalion in Namlan village-tract of Hsipaw Township in Shan State (North) yesterday.

North-East Command Commander Brig-Gen Aye Min Oo, relevant departmental officials, Tatmadaw members, families, teachers, students and local ethnic people welcomed returning soldiers with heartfelt enthusiasm.

Brig-Gen Aye Min Oo, along with officers, other ranks, family members, departmental officials, and local ethnic people, welcomed the victorious Tatmadaw members with sprigs of Eugenia, garlands, and floral tributes. The event included traditional Shan dance and music performances.
