THE Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win went to the Myanmar Theravada Buddha Vihara (Moscow) in Moscow where they paid homage to Residing Sayadaw Dr Bhaddanta Issariya on the morning (local time) of 26 August. The Vice-Senior General and party took Five Precepts and donated offertories to Sayadaws.

Then, the Vice-Senior General met Russian Deputy Defence Minister Colonel General Alexander Vasilyevich Fomin and frankly discussed the plans to be carried out with mutual respect, trust and support between the two armed forces.

After the meeting, the two leaders exchanged gifts.
