PATRON of the Leading Com­mittee for Organizing the 23rd Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Depu­ty Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win watched the competition of Ramayana drama play event at the training thea­tre of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

At the drama play amateur level (first class) event, the Mann Rama drama troupe represent­ing Mandalay Region presented performances with full dancing methods under the title of “Orig­inal Ramayana”. The Patron ofthe leading committee, Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Ko, the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, deputy ministers, officials and members of the panel of judges watched the competitions.

Contestants from Yangon, Magway, Ayeyawady, Bago and Mandalay regions took part in the “Ramayana” play from 12 October to date.
