THE commissioning ceremony for the 25th Intake of the Defence Services Medical Academy (DSMA) took place yesterday morning at the DSMA convocation hall. The event was attended by Lt-Gen Lin Aung, Military Appointment-General of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, DSMA Commandant Brig-Gen Soe Nyunt, and the graduating cadets.

AT the invitation of Mr Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, the Myanmar delegation led by U Than Swe, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, left Mandalay International Airport for Thailand yesterday morning to participate in the Informal Consultation at Ministerial Level between Bangladesh, China, India, the Lao PDR, Myanmar and Thailand, to be held in Bangkok, Thailand on 19 December 2024. The Myanmar delegation was seen off by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the Mandalay International Airport.
