THE Myanmar Traditional Performing Arts Competition continued for the third day in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning. Contestants from Rakhine, Kachin and Shan states and Taninthayi, Bago, Sagaing, Yangon, Mandalay, Magway and Ayeyawady regions participated in “Maha Gita” (Classical Songs) singing competitions at women’s amateur level (second class), and contestants from Bago, Yangon, Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi regions and Shan and Kayin states took part in basic education level boy’s (aged 10 to 15) event.
