A collaborative team led by Nay Pyi Taw Council member Col Min Naung made a field study trip yesterday to Bangbar and Seikphutaung villages in Pyinmana township by motorcade in order to ensure regional stability and peace, security, the rule of law, education, health and local development.
Colonel Min Naung first met departmental officials in Seikphutaung village and discussed development activities according to the relevant sectors and improvement of education, health and road communication.
He provided basic consumer goods to monasteries, villages and primary schools.
Officials from the Ministry of Immigration and Population in Pyinmana township also provided household registration certificates and citizenship scrutiny cards (CSCs) through the Pankhinn scheme to villages in the Bangbar village-tract.
In addition, the mobile medical team from the Nay Pyi Taw Medical Services Department provided free healthcare services to monks and rural people at Seikphutaung Rural Health Centre. The Rural Road Development Department officials also inspected and measured the land to build an inter-village-to-village road in the hard-to-reach areas of Seikphutaung village. Officials from the Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department carried out a field inventory of the number of animals raised in Seikphutaung village.
