AS local stability and security are also important for carrying out local development activities, Col Min Naung, a member of the Nay Pyi Taw Council, stated that it is necessary for the Tatmadaw and the people to be united and cooperate.
He also mentioned that his visit is in response to the directive from the State Administration Council to promote regional development in Pyinmana Township, particularly in the mountain villages. He expressed the importance of local ethnic communities openly sharing their development needs for the region. By facilitating such discussions, the council can address the region’s requirements more efficiently.
During his stay, he pledged to prioritize initiatives such as education, healthcare, transportation, and the provision of clean water and electricity for the village.
Col Min Naung and his team donated Waso robes and gifts to the monks from the monasteries in Bangbar village-tract. Next, they donated consumer goods, foodstuffs, stationaries, books, mosquito nets, medicines, natural fertilizer and toys to the monasteries, households, people’s militia troop members, teachers and students from the basic education schools from villages in Bangbar village-tract.
Afterwards, an official from the Ministry of Immigration and Population visited the villages within the Bangbar village-tract. During the visit, villagers and students received their citizenship securitization cards and household registration forms 66/6 as part of the Pankhinn Project 2.
