STATE Administration Council Member Porel Aung Thein said during the public meeting held yesterday in Loikaw that the state government is paying special attention to the balanced development of urban and rural.
He pointed out that the State Administration Council is accelerating the comprehensive development of the national interest plus reducing poverty. He added that he wants all the people to work together to improve the rule of law.
The education of the youth is important to obtain human resources that will be relied upon for the future of the country, he stressed.
He recommended all citizens to participate in the successful holding of a free and fair multi-party democratic general election ensuring that all eligible voters can vote.
Kayah State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin presented Kayah State’s sectoral performance and regional development.
The meeting continued with further discussions on road and infrastructures, housing development, basic food price stability and distribution issues and regional security and peace.
