THE Information and Public Relations Department under the Ministry of Information organized an all-round youth development event at No 2 BEHS in Pyinmana Township of Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

At the event, Information Deputy Minister U Ye Tint highlighted the role of youths in the future of the country and the need to become educated youths to achieve peace, stability and development of the country, improve their personal abilities and be the reliable ones with five essential strengths for the youths.

He also donated books and journals for the school library to Headmistress Daw Kyu Kyu Myint.

Writer Thet Thet Nwe (Yangon University) then presided over a talk on the topic of youth and education.

The event also features colourful photo contests “Beautiful Land of Myanmar”, a mobile library with books and journals to develop the five strengths of students, fun games, the awarding section for winners and other fun activities for the students.
