SAC Member Daw Dwe Bu greeted patients at Myitkyina General Hospital 500- bed. The visit, which took place yesterday morning, was marked by words of encouragement and support for the patients, along with the distribution of food and cash.
While meeting representatives from 12 ethnic tribes at the Malikha Hall within the state government office, the SAC member emphasized ongoing efforts towards achieving internal peace and facilitating a fair multiparty democratic general election. She also stressed the importance of active participation in the census process as a vital element in national development.
As a token of goodwill, the SAC member presented K2.8 million to the ethnic groups and their literary and cultural associations. The chairman of the Kachin Traditional Culture Committee expressed gratitude on behalf of all the ethnic communities.
In the afternoon, the SAC member and her delegation engaged with local Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprise (MSME) entrepreneurs at the Gymnasium in Myitkyina city’s sports playground. During this gathering, MSME owners and farmers voiced concerns with obtaining business loans, receiving technical assistance for product quality improvement, and expanding market opportunities.
Issues related to electricity supply and sector-specific challenges were also addressed, with state-level officials offering insights on potential support measures. The state chief minister further elaborated on these discussions, while the SAC member emphasized the need to meet these requirements and enhance production capacities.
