THE Myanmar delegation, led by Deputy Minister for Legal Affairs and Deputy Attorney-General Dr Htein Lin Oo, participated in the 61st Annual Meeting of the Asian-African Legal Consultative Organization (AALCO) held in Bali, Indonesia, from 16 to 20 October.

Vice-President of Indonesia, Prof Dr (HC) KH Ma'ruf Amin, attended the meeting as a special guest and delivered an opening speech.

During the meeting, member countries specialized discussions on topics related to international economic trade law, the law of the sea, human rights law, refugee law, international humanitarian law, environmental protection and sustainable development, and international criminal law.
