A meeting to discuss cooperation in commerce, trade, education, agriculture, and infrastructure construction between Myanmar and Jiangxi Province of China was held in Nanchang City on 22 August, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Myanmar Ambassador to China U Tin Maung Swe, Jiangxi Province Governor Ye Jianchun, Vice-Governor Xia Wenyong, and Secretary-General of the provincial government Xu Yanbin participated in the discussion.
During the meeting, U Tin Maung Swe highlighted the long-standing friendly relations between Myanmar and China, both Government-to-Government and People-to-People, which have developed over many years. He noted that solid cooperation has already been established between the people of Myanmar and Jiangxi Province. He also mentioned that deeper collaborations are anticipated, particularly in commerce, trade, education, agriculture, and infrastructure construction. Following the meeting, the Myanmar Ambassador and his delegation attended a dinner hosted by Jiangxi Province Governor Ye Jianchun.
