GEMS and jades are on sale for local merchants in Myanmar kyat during the six-day emporium at Mani Yadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw from 2 to 7 January.
Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Ohn Win, Deputy Minister Dr Ye Myint Swe and officials visited the emporium yesterday morning, and looked around the display of gems and jade lots.
The emporium will sell 286 lots of gems in open tender system on 4 January, and a total of 3,695 jade lots from 5 to 7 January in the same system.
The maximum floor price for gem lot is K180 million, and that of jade lot is K100 million, and the merchants will also need to pay advanced deposit on the deals.
