THE Joint Committee on Scrutinizing Second Bill Amending 2008 Constitution held a meeting at the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw building in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Joint Scrutinizing Committee and the Pyithu Hluttaw Bill Committee U Khin Maung Win, Deputy Chairman of the joint scrutinizing committee and Chairman of Amyotha Hluttaw Bill Committee U Zaw Min, Deputy Attorney-General U Win Myint Secretary of the joint scrutinizing committee Dr Myat Nyana Soe, Joint Secretary of the Committee U Kyaw Soe Lin, members of the joint scrutinizing committee from Pyithu Hluttaw and Amyotha Hluttaw, the representatives of the MPs of Pyidaungsu Hluttaw who submitted the Second Bill Amending 2008 Constitution — U Thein Tun of Kyaungkone constituency, Dr U Maung Thin of Meiktila constituency, Tatmadaw Pyithu Hluttaw representative BrigGen Maung Maung, Tatmadaw Amyotha Hluttaw representative Brig-Gen Aung San Chit, U Sai Than Naing of Kayin State constituency 5, U Htay Win Aung (a) U Pyone Cho from Dawbon constituency, and officials from Union Attorney-General Office and Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Office.
The meeting discussed matters related to the approval of amending legal writing methods on the second bills amending the Constitution, and compiling a report to be submitted to the Pyiduangsu Hluttaw by the joint scrutinizing committee.
