1. In legally sending Myanmar workers to Thailand under an MoU system during the COVID-19 period, two COVID-19 tests, COVID-19 immunization costs for those who have not been vaccinated and quarantine costs in Thailand must be borne by the employer.
2. Regarding the costs incurred by workers, workers covered by the Thai Social Security Law will have to pay 5,390 baht, including four-month health insurance. Workers who are not covered by the Thai Social Security Law (those working in sectors such as domestic assistants, seasonal crops, agriculture and livestock, fisheries, loading/unloading, salting) will have to pay 7,600 baht, including two years of health insurance. To avoid deducting the employer’s costs from workers, this will be included in the employment contract with an annexe.
3. The Overseas Employment Supervision Committee has instructed foreign employment agencies (Thai) licensing agencies not to charge more than K300,000 in service fees charged to workers.
