TWO police vehicles were damaged by remote-controlled explosive mines by the AA group in MraukU on 11 January, but no casualties were incurred.


The vehicles were carrying families of MraukU police officers back from the local market when the explosives were set off at 9:45 a.m. near Takya Mahn Aung Pagoda. Myanmar Police Force reports that while the vehicles were damaged no person was hurt.
