A cargo aircraft operated by Aerostan Airline carrying humanitarian aid from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) arrived at Yangon International Airport on the morning of 10 April. The shipment included 65 packages of medicines and temporary shelters, weighing a total of 24,860 kilogrammes and was intended for distribution to earthquake-affected areas in Myanmar.

Following the severe earthquake on 28 March, Myanma Railways under the Ministry of Transport and Communications repaired damaged railway lines and bridges using manpower and machinery. Passenger and cargo trains, including container trains, resumed operations along the Yangon-Mandalay route starting on 5 April.
