1.U Jue Ni (a) U Tun Myint was found guilty of casting his ballot with his fake seal without using the actual seal issued by the Union Election Commission when the officials of election sub-commission conducted advance voting at the house of U Aung Than, who lives in Aung Zeya street of No (4) Ward, Pathein Township, Ayeyawady Region on 31-10-2020.

1.The Union Election Commission is managing the successful holding of 2020 General Election on 8 November in line with the COVID-19 preventive guidelines, and working for the voting of all eligible voters in the respective townships including in the areas under the stay-at-home order due to the spread of this disease.

The Ministry of Health and Sports (MoHS) has been testing people who come to Nay Pyi Taw for COVID-19 at its laboratories in the capital.

1. The Union Election Commission has already issued Directive (1/2014) on 1 July 2014 on the conduct of political rallies and political campaigns, with respect to the rights of Hluttaw representative candidates of political parties and independent Hluttaw representative candidates, who have been officially approved as Hluttaw representative candidates by relevant election sub-commissions in accordance with relevant electoral laws and by-laws, after they have submitted their applications to compete in the respective constituencies of the respective Hluttaws, to ensure free and fair elections in accordance with the law.

1. The Ministry of Health and Sports has recorded 181 confirmed cases of local transmissions of COVID-19 in Rakhine State, and has found the related cases have reached other regions and states.

1. The Ministry of Health and Sports has issued Order 97/2020 dated on 26-8-2020 to announce that the whole Rakhine State has been put into ‘Stay–at–Home’ programme for effective control measures against the increasing confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Rakhine State.

THE Ministry of Education has issued the following instructions as COVID-19 prevention measures for all matriculation examination centres in the whole country in coordination with the Ministry of Health Sports, and beginning from the date (11-3-2020) the exams commenced, all the centres have been observing the instructions.
